Pass-through Washing Machine

Prolog Plus specialists completed a project to design, manufacture, and install a tunnel-type wash machine with an overhead chain conveyor.

The machine is designed for automated cleaning of vehicle exhaust systems in mass production environments.

The equipment is based on a continuous processing principle: parts are secured on an overhead chain conveyor and sequentially moved through the machine’s process zones. This design ensures consistent processing times for each part and ensures process repeatability.

The machine’s design allows for the treatment of parts with cleaning solutions circulating through a system of pumping equipment and spray manifolds. The nozzle arrangement ensures the spray solution is delivered from various directions, allowing for the treatment of parts as they move through the work zone.

The completed project included a full range of work — from design and equipment manufacture to installation, configuration, and commissioning of the wash machine at the customer’s production site.
